iPad 3Ever wonder why the iPad costs so much? So have we. That’s why we were interested to find out just how much the individual components cost when you take one apart. Fortunately, a market intelligence company IHS iSupply did most of the work for us. Here’s what we found out about a 32GB iPad with Wi-Fi, 4G and a retail price of £579. Most of the components were purchased in US dollars, so we’ve roughly converted the figures into sterling. (more…)
