PSP Prices Slashed in Time For Christmas

Christmas shoppers ahoy! Sony has slashed the price of the PSP ahead of the festive shopping season so for parents, there is even more choice in addition to Gadget Panda’s facility for users to sell PSP devices here.

The price has already come down in the US since last week from 250 dollars (£158) to 199 dollars (£126) and now the cuts are heading across the Atlantic.

According to a new gadget survey, the iPod is the 7th best piece of kit of all time!

The Apple MP3 player which has revolutionised the way we listen to music in the 21st century featured in the top ten alongside items such as the digital camera, sat nav, laptop and iPhone.

On the flipside of the coin, the worst gadgets were announced too with the electric candle winning… or rather losing… that particular battle.


Sony’s PSP2 exists, leaks EA Games

EA’s senior vice president Patrick Soderlund has confessed to CVG that the PSP2 exists and that they have had access to it.

Rumours of Sony’s new handheld have been sprawled around games news sites recently but no major publisher has admitted that it has seen the device – until now.

According to CVG, EA’s Soderlund was asked if he had any exposure at all to the technology to which he replied: “Well, obviously as a developer we have had that – but I’m not allowed to talk about it.”


Apple release IOS 4.2 for Idevices

Apple has been telling the world about the release of IOS 4.2 for the Iphone, Ipad and Ipod touch devices.

The IOS Dev Centre has confirmed that developers can now submit IOS 4.2 apps, in anticipation that the software update is about to hit Idevices.

The release, known as build 8C134, should be delivered to Ithings everywhere by the end of the month.


Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger Covers Nintendo GoldenEye

Nicole Scherzinger will be covering the GoldenEye theme song, originally made famous by Tina Turner, for the release of Nintendo Wii’s new game.

The iconic track will feature on the remake of the Nintendo ’64 shooter and will include the newest edition, Daniel Craig.


Nintendo Upgrades!

Nintendo has announced that it is about to launch the updated version of Wii Remote called Wii Remote Plus on 5th November in the UK.

Needless to say, this announcement has surprised not only European gamers but also Japanese ones, as the release date for Japan is scheduled a week after. One reason why Nintendo has prioritized Europe this time could be an attempt at dominating this year’s Christmas game market and encourage people to buy it early.
