With over 100 new features, Apple is promising that its newest operating system for the iPod, iPhone and iPad, IOS 4, allows you to do more than ever before. But, in reality, how do all those new features break down in functionality? And what about the bugs that users seem to be experiencing with the new system?

Updating your device to IOS 4 is fairly straightforward. Simply connect your device to iTunes, select the device in the sidebar and then click ‘Check for Updates’ in the ‘Summary’ tab. Steve Jobs asks the big question.

It doesn’t seem so long since Steve Jobs announced the 3GS, yet, it’s time for dedicated Apple fans to upgrade again, because the iPhone 4 is here.

Apple’s latest iPhone comes with no big revelations. For example, the camera has been upgraded to 5 megapixels from 3.5 megapixels. No surprise there. 8MP is common now, so 5MP looks a bit stingy. Having said that, the screen, described as a Retina display, is stunning. A resolution of 960×640 makes it four times better than the 3GS, so even 5MP photos are going to look great. iPhone customers see red over water damage claims

One look at any technology forum on the Internet says it all. Apple’s customers aren’t happy with their policy on repairing iPhones under warranty. The issue has even been covered on the BBC watchdog programme, ‘Rogue Traders’.
